Such a fruitful PIC Summit, where we share all our latest advancement of the Al2O3 platform!
We had a total of 3 posters on
"RGB Beam Combiner on Aluminum Oxide (Al203) Platform" by Vahram Voskerchyan, Bjorn Jongenbloed and Sonia M. Garcia-Blanco,
"Material development for integrated optical systems" by the integrated optical system group from University of Twente and
"Towards a broadband integrated optical interconnect" by Yaxiang Zeng, Ningxin Xu, Sonia M. Garcia-Blanco and Lantian Chang, whose mirrors and devices being broadband can be nicely used with Al2O3.
Sonia M. Garcia-Blanco enlighted the audience by giving a presentation in the Future of Integrated Photonics session: “The Al2O3 platform: enabler for PICs for health applications”.
Moreover, ALUVia project had a couple of demonstrators of our PICs in the Future Pavillion demo area and a wafer in the U of Twente booth, whereas the spin-off ALUVIA Photonics B.V. had a booth in the start-up area, where people found out more about our technology.
